MAIN STAGE

14:45 – 15:15

After stepping into the shoes of real users during the Shared Solution Session, it is time to turn insights into action. In Shared Reflections, public leaders and market players take the stage to respond directly to the barriers, frustrations and bright ideas that emerged from the audience.

This is the moment when user voices meet decision-makers. What does it mean when residents say hubs feel too far away, or when new pricing structures discourage loyal users? How do we deal with accessibility gaps for low-income groups, or with the tension between convenience and sustainability?

On stage, leaders will share how they see these challenges and what they can do to address them. Expect sharp reflections, honest answers and a dialogue that won’t shy away from complexity. Because shared mobility only grows stronger when user needs are truly heard.

A collective reality check and a glimpse into the road ahead: that is what Shared Reflections is about.

Performers

Hi, I’m Tyas. Born and raised in Amersfoort, I now serve as alderman for, among other things, mobility in our fast-growing city. Before stepping into local government, I studied Public Administration and held roles as board member, council member, and party leader for D66. Music has always been my other passion. I even run my own business trading vinyls and CDs. In Amersfoort, we are shifting gears toward more space for pedestrians, cyclists, public transport, and shared mobility. From shared cars to scooters, cargo bikes, and e-bikes, we make it easy for residents to try them all. And yes, I still love cycling through my hometown, the best way to keep moving and keep rocking.
Hi, I’m Jan-Bert. At the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, I’m Director of Mobility and Regions. My job is to connect the dots: how do we plan and decide on new residential areas, optimize the use of infrastructure, and make the right investments for the future? I’ve been around the block — from drafting new water management laws to opening markets for public tasks, steering the decision-making on the high-speed train, and leading projects on roads and smarter use of infrastructure. Law and public policy shaped my studies in Groningen, but it’s the real-world puzzles of mobility and space that keep me hooked. For me, mobility is like a great track: it only works when all the instruments come together. That mix of policy, practice, and people, that’s where the magic (and the rock ’n roll) happens.
Hi, I’m Laurens. As CEO of MyWheels, the Dutch car-sharing platform, I’m steering shared mobility straight into the heart of the energy transition. With international leadership experience at companies like Heineken, Mars, Tetra Pak, GANT, and Wave International, I bring a mix of business drive and innovative thinking. At MyWheels, I’m focused on scaling the platform and pioneering new concepts, like the “driving neighborhood battery,” where electric shared cars support local energy grids. My mission? To make mobility an essential part of the energy transition and help speed up a sustainable future.
Hi, I’m Michiel. Since 2023 I’ve been steering Greenwheels as Director, convinced that car ownership can be smarter and leaner. The benefits are clear: more space on our streets, better choices for our wallets, and mobility that works for everyone. Trained as a lawyer but seasoned in multiple roles across the automotive world, I bring a broad perspective to leading Greenwheels into its next chapter.
