The Federal Ministry of Innovation, Mobility and Infrastructure combines responsibilities relating to transport, mobility, infrastructure and technological development. The directorates for transport and mobility deal with regulatory and strategic transport issues as well as new mobility services such as shared mobility. These are anchored in the Sharing Strategy and therefore are part of the implementation of the Mobility Master Plan 2030. In doing so, the ministry actively promotes multimodal mobility.
