Shared solution session
MAIN STAGE
11:15 – 12:45
Shared Mobility Rocks 2025 starts with a session that goes straight to the heart of the challenge. No passive keynote, but a collective exploration of what it really means to see shared mobility from the user’s point of view.
Shared Solution Session: step into the user’s shoes
Everyone working on shared mobility is looking for growth. Policies are written, services designed, and solutions built with the user in mind. But what if the user is not someone else? What if the user is you?
Imagine being the commuter searching for comfort, the resident who is frustrated by parked vehicles in your street, or the jobseeker unsure how mobility could open new doors. This session brings real-life perspectives to the centre of the room.
Through short videos and live testimonies, we hear directly from people navigating shared mobility in their daily lives. Participants will then work in groups, diving into specific case studies and reflecting on what it really takes to remove barriers, support lasting behavioural change, and make shared mobility more inclusive.
What you will experience
A dynamic session format, built around real user stories
Small group discussions based on detailed user cases
A focus on user experience rather than professional assumption
A collective wrap-up with public leaders who respond directly to the insights raised
Examples of the cases we will explore
New mobility hubs have been added to your neighbourhood, but they are further away than your usual pick-up spot. Does the convenience still work for you?
You live in a rural area and rely on the bus, but your route is about to be cut. Could shared mobility be a solution?
You gave up your second car but face new restrictions on drop-off zones and pricing. Does the system still meet your needs?
You are moving into a new residential development with fewer parking spaces and built-in shared vehicles. Will that change your habits?
Why this matters
This session is an invitation to listen closely, reflect openly and design better together. It encourages participants to move beyond their own roles and to consider shared mobility as a lived reality. The session creates space for fresh ideas and honest dialogue, grounded in the experience of real users.
The Shared Solution Session sets the tone for a day of curiosity, collaboration and forward thinking.
