The License to Share: Bringing Shared Mobility into Neighbourhoods

Bringing Shared Mobility into Neighbourhoods – A family drama in 3 acts

What is the impact of shared mobility and why should we care?

In Germany, mobil.punkts are well distributed hubs for shared mobility in urban neighbourhoods that reduce the number of cars in neighbourhoods by providing car (and other) sharing directly where people live.

What many people sense but few people know about the mobil.punkt, is that this tall blue fellow also has a character, a soul and principles. He also has a growing family, with offspring in Germany and across Europe.

And now the mobil.punkt is visiting North America for the first time to share his story, build some new relationships – and maybe grow the family here too.

What you can expect:

Act One: Birth (difficult in the face of German bureaucracy)

Act Two: Those awkward growing-up years (building new relationships)

Act Three: Maturity (20 years old with offspring across Europe)
