SUB-SESSION 60min

16:15 – 17:15

Step into the shoes of an urban innovator. In this interactive workshop, you and your team will design a smart and creative hub network for a fictional city facing real-world mobility challenges. Using drawings, quick pitches and a dose of playful competition, you’ll explore how shared mobility can truly shape the future of urban life.

This session is not just about imagination. Based on real lessons learned, you’ll work with practical tools that can help cities, planners and operators rethink the role of hubs in making mobility smarter, more sustainable and more inclusive.

Build bold ideas, pitch them with flair, and discover what it takes to design the hub network of tomorrow.

Hi, I’m Victor. With more than 10 years of experience in the (shared) mobility field, I bring professional expertise and a planner’s mindset to the jury of this session. As project manager for neighborhood shared mobility hubs and parking at the Municipality of The Hague, I work on making shared mobility visible, accessible, and practical for daily life. Trained as an urban and regional planner, I use hubs not only to promote shared mobility, but also to create better organized and more inclusive public spaces for everyone.
Hi, I’m Matthew. As Head of New Mobility at Steer, I lead a team exploring how shared and digital mobility can best serve both users and society. With more than 15 years of experience, I’ve helped cities and regions plan and implement car clubs, shared micromobility, on-demand services, and EV charging networks. My focus: turning technology into real-world benefits through smart policy and practical frameworks. Based in London but working across Europe and the Americas, I also chair CoMoUK, the charity championing the societal impact of shared mobility. Always looking for ways to connect ideas, people, and places, because that’s where mobility makes a difference.
