Please don’t let the video format stop you from contributing to the program! A simple one‑shot recording is totally sufficient – no editing, no cutting, no fancy equipment needed. A basic phone video works perfectly.

The demo tape is only used internally to help us shape the conference program and won’t be shared publicly.

a) Call for jam sessions: Take the stage and design your own 90-minute session!

You’re the moderator, the curator, and the band leader. Choose the topic, invite your speakers, and craft a format that rocks — from interactive jams to hands-on labs or provocative debates.

We love unexpected collaborations across countries, sectors and organizations. The more diversity, the better the sound.

German-language sessions? Absolutely.

Submit a topic you want to bring on stage as part of a 90-minute session.

Our jury will shape the setlist: grouping presentations into powerful sessions and assigning a moderator to keep the energy high.

We’ll hook you up with inspiring presenters and co-create a session that will leave a lasting mark on the Shared Mobility Rocks 2026 programme.

This year’s playlist focuses on the main topic “Time to scale up”: After 20 years and more of jamming, testing, and remixing shared mobility, we finally know which components are essential to make a (mobility) system truly rock. Now it’s time to turn up the volume — how do we scale the hits and bring shared mobility to the big stage?

1 The Big Picture: Making Shared Mobility Mainstream

  • Public Mobility: (How) can the public sector guarantee mobility for all and provide good provisioning systems?

How to apply: your demo tape!

Forget long forms and boring abstracts. We want to see your energy!
Submit a short video (max. 3 minutes, no special equipment needed – your smartphone is perfect!), a demo tape where you tell us:

  • For a) jam sessions: Who you are, session title, topic, speakers, and format.
  • For b) gigs: Who you are, topic, why it matters, and your preferred format.
  • For c) MCs: Who you are, why you want to moderate, and formats you love and suggest.

Possible formats for the videos:

  • Selfie Video: Record yourself with your smartphone or webcam and tell us about your idea directly to the camera.
  • Screen-Recording Pitch: Show your slides and explain your idea with a voice-over.
  • Voice-over with Visuals: Use images or graphics and explain your idea with a voice-over.
  • Interview Style: Have a colleague ask you questions.
  • Podcast Style: Audio only with a branded image.
  • Short Reel / TikTok Style: Quick cuts, text overlays, music.
  • Animation or Motion Graphics: Turn your idea into a visual story.
