Call for contributions: your demo tape!

Please don’t let the video format stop you from contributing to the program! A simple one‑shot recording is totally sufficient – no editing, no cutting, no fancy equipment needed. A basic phone video works perfectly.

The demo tape is only used internally to help us shape the conference program and won’t be shared publicly.

NOW OPEN!

a) Call for jam sessions: Take the stage and design your own 90-minute session!

You’re the moderator, the curator, and the band leader. Choose the topic, invite your speakers, and craft a format that rocks — from interactive jams to hands-on labs or provocative debates.

We love unexpected collaborations across countries, sectors and organizations. The more diversity, the better the sound.

German-language sessions? Absolutely.

b) Call for gigs: Drop your riff and join the line-up!

Submit a topic you want to bring on stage as part of a 90-minute session.

Our jury will shape the setlist: grouping presentations into powerful sessions and assigning a moderator to keep the energy high.

Got a killer idea for how your contribution should land?

We highly appreciate format suggestions – lightning talks, live demos, interactive moments or any format that gets the crowd moving.

c) Call for MCs: Smash the format. Own the stage.

Done with panels that all sound the same?

Pitch us a bold, unconventional session format and tell us why you should take the mic. No rules, no autopilot – just energy, interaction and fresh thinking.

We’ll hook you up with inspiring presenters and co-create a session that will leave a lasting mark on the Shared Mobility Rocks 2026 programme.

This year’s playlist focuses on the main topic “Time to scale up”: After 20 years and more of jamming, testing, and remixing shared mobility, we finally know which components are essential to make a (mobility) system truly rock. Now it’s time to turn up the volume — how do we scale the hits and bring shared mobility to the big stage?

Topics we are especially interested in:

  • Ask the Expert – Direct Q&A with the pros

  • Jigsaw – Collaborative problem-solving in small, rotating groups

  • Quiz Shows – Test the audience’s knowledge in a fun, competitive way

  • Roleplays – Bring real-world mobility challenges to life through acting

  • Market Place / World Café – Participants rotate between themed tables, exchanging insights, pitching concepts, and co-creating solutions

  • Unplugged Storytelling – Share raw, authentic stories

  • Pecha Kucha – 20 slides x 20 seconds = fast-paced, visual storytelling

  • Backcasting / Future perfect method – Start from the future and work backward to create bold strategies
